Property data

Specify the property type according to the object type registered in the Land Register – an apartment or a residential house.

If the property to be insured is a twin house, semi-detached house or part of a building, then insure it as an apartment. If you also wish to insure the sauna building together with it, get in touch with us via Internet Banking message or by phone on 67 444 449.

Property used for commercial activities (e.g., shops, hostels, beauty parlors, etc.) is not insured. Stone buildings - Buildings the load-bearing elements (ususally, the load-bearing walls) and covering between storeys (including covering that separates rooms from roof construction - the attic) of which are made of fireproof materials (bricks, concrete, stone, blocks (aerated concrete, ceramsite, silicate), reinforced concrete panels. Wooden elements are permissible only for roof's load-bearing elements (battening, ridgepole) or room dividers.
Mixed type of buildings - Building load-bearing elements (ususally, the load-bearing walls) of which are made of fireproof materials (bricks, concrete, stone, blocks (aerated concrete, ceramsite, silicate), reinforced concrete panels, while covering between storeys of made of wood or other non-fireproof materials. Buildings where the 1st floor consists of concrete elements and the 2nd floor consists of mixed or wooden elements. The top floor of the building lacks concrete covering which seperates rooms from the roof's load-bearing constructions (wooden). This paragraph applies to apartmets only in case of insuring an aparment on the top floor of the building.
Wooden buildings - Buildings the load-bearing elements (walls) of which are made of wood. Also, if a wooden building is covered on the outside with concrete or other fireproof material. Renovation means the replacement of at least the utilities (water pipe, sewerage, heating pipes, electrical wiring) and, for residential houses, also replacing the roof covering.
For apartments, the time of reconstruction of the apartment, not the time of construction/renovation of the apartment building, is taken into account.

To assess whether we can insure your building or apartment, please send us photos taken according to the document Submitting photos for home insurance (PDF).

For an apartment, give the total area in sq.m., including any balconies.
For a house, give the total area in sq.m., including any terrace/patio.

Specify the total area of the sauna if it is a separate building located in the same address as the dwelling house.

If the sauna is installed in the dwelling house, it is not necessary to specify this area.

Outbuilding is a separate building that is not used for residential purposes and is in the same address as the dwelling house. For example, a garage, a shed.

In case there is more than one outbuilding, specify the total area of all the outbuildings summed up.

If a sauna is located in the outbuilding, insure it as a sauna building.

Sum insured

The maximum amount reimbursed for movable property in the insured home. E.g. household appliances, furniture, sports equipment, etc. You have selected cover for home property and personal belongings in the sum of € 0, which means that you will not be reimbursed for any unexpected damage caused to those items. You can change this preference. The maximum amount reimbursed for damage you’ve caused to a third party. E.g. flooding neighbours or accidentally injuring a visitor. You have selected liability insurance in the sum of € 0. This means that any damage you cause to third parties will not be reimbursed. You can change this preference. The calculation is approximate. You will receive a personalized insurance offer when you proceed with conclusion of the insurance contract.
