Using Swedbank debit cards will let you:
- withdraw and deposit cash;
- check and print out account balance;
- check and print our a report about last 5 transactions on your account;
- change your card's PIN;
- unblock you card's PIN in case it has been blocked while making a purchase;
- recharging OKarte and paying the following bills: LMT, Tele2, Lattelecom, Latvenergo, Latvijas Gāze (for debit cards with EUR as base currency).

Using cash deposit machines (CDM):
- It is possible to deposit up to 10 000 EUR per month at a CDM and it allows for depositing up to 30, 50 or 100 banknotes at a time, depending on CDM type;
- You can deposit banknote s of different face values simultaneously;
- Depositing at a CDM is only available in EUR currency;
- If the card used for the deposit has EUR or USD as principal currency, the deposited amount in EUR will be converted into USD at Swedbank's exchange rate;
- When depositing cash at a CDM, it is important that the banknotes are straight, well-arranged and that there are no foreign objects among them. Otherwise the CDM might not accept the banknotes.
Using automated teller machines (ATM):
- Cash withdrawal at an ATM is available for up to 850 EUR per one time.
Any payment card issued by Swedbank can be used for withdrawing cash at Latvian stores that offer such an option and are recognizable by the sticker at the retail outlet.
Cash can be withdrawn with any personal or corporate payment card issued by Swedbank, including credit cards and debit cards.
How does cash withdrawal at retail locations work:
- Cash withdrawal is executed as a separate transaction before or after making a purchase at the retail store.
- The minimum amount of one withdrawal is 1 eiro cent, and the maximum - 75 EUR.
- Customers may carry out several consecutive cash withdrawal transactions.
- The cash may be paid out in banknotes or in coins.
- The service fee set in the bank’s price list is charged for each individual transaction.
- Retailers may refuse cash pay-out if the transaction cannot be executed at the time the service is requested.

You may also make your EUR cash transactions in Swedbank branches - making deposits and withdrawals.
- Withdrawal of amounts from 7500 EUR (including) at branch must be ordered two working days in advance by 13:00 o’clock. Withdrawal must be ordered in advance in person at a branch, or users of remote services can order by phone on 67 444 444 and in their Swedbank Internet Banking user account.
- Depositing EUR cash - deposit amounts are not limited.
- EUR coin processing when performing cash transactions, incl. coin exchange and changing coins into banknotes.
While processing cash operations, for safety purposes a customer's identity is checked by his identification document and the signature sample, registered during account opening.
