Application for opening temporary account for a company

Documents required for opening the temporary account at branch:

  • company formation agreement or resolution;
  • identity documents for company founders or representatives;
  • additional documents if necessary.

Documents required for opening a temporary account remotely:

  • Formation agreement or resolution.
  • Founder meeting minutes or the resolution on appointment of authorized representatives if the company to be founded is not represented by the founders specified in the formation agreement or resolution.

Available to customers:

  • Swedbank Internet Banking users (as a private individual)
  • With Smart-ID qualified signature or eID card
  • Company founders

  1. Log in and fill out the application.
  2. Sign the company formation documents with the Smart-ID qualified electronic signature (QES)* or with eSignature and save them in EDOC/ASICE format. Upload them here under document type "Know Your Customer (KYC)", sub-type "Other documents".
  3. The company’s temporary account number will be sent to you to your personal Internet Banking user account within 1 business day.
  4. You can deposit the equity capital via Internet Banking by making the payment to the temporary account number.
  5. As proof of depositing the equity capital, download the confirmation of the payment made.

* Document signing with the Smart-ID can be carried on the Dokobit portal.

Would-be customers who don’t have a private individual’s account with Swedbank can open the account at a branch only:

  • Choose your nearest Swedbank branch. Alfa, Domina, Spice, Centrs, Akropole, Rīga Plaza and all branches outside Riga.
  • Book the company account opening appointment at the branch here.
  • When going to the branch, make sure you have the necessary documents ready.
