Card's PIN code and details

Easily access your card number, expiry date, and security code/CVC2 code for all your active cards and view your PIN code in case you have forgotten it.

Manage account settings

  • Change the account name (you can also add emojis)
  • Choose a default account to be shown first when making transfers
  • Change payment limits
  • Hide account balance in the ”Overview” tab

To be on the safe side, you should have at least two authentication methods. The app PIN code is easy, secure, versatile, and a good backup.

Features in the mobile app and how to use them

Besides new features, we have also updated your favourite and usual ones so you can continue to enjoy them at a new level.

Receive money from a friend by sending a request in a text message, e-mail or instant message.

  • Prepare the money request in the “Payments” section of the app
  • Choose how to send the request link (text message, e-mail or otherwise)
  • Select the person you wish to send money to from the contact list
  • Swedbank customers can make the payment by simply opening the link from the request
  • The maximum amount per request is 500 EUR

Smartphone users can also make a money request with a QR code.

Biometrics and PIN are the most convenient ways of logging into our mobile app and Internet Banking.

Transfer money to others by using only their phone number. Set it up with these simple steps.

  • Link your phone number to your bank account in Swedbank mobile app to receive these payments
  • When making a new transfer in the app, choose to find the recipient from your phone contacts or enter the phone number manually
  • You can invite others to link their phone numbers to their bank accounts to transfer money by phone number to each other

Digitized cards

Gives you more control over your card usage. Manage your digitized Mastercard in different digital wallets and see linked service providers.

  1. In payment wallets, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Fitbit Pay, Garmin Pay and other available;
  2. Services where card has been digitized for recurring payments, such as “Netflix”, “Amazon”, “Uber” and similar.

Note! Some subscriptions and services might not be visible due to technical solution used by merchant.

How to download and use our mobile app

New Swedbank Latvija app is available for any smart device (phone, tablet, etc.) with software versions:

  • iOS: 17.0 or later
  • Android: 7.0 or later

Earlier versions of operating systems are not supported.

To get our mobile app:

  • Go to Google Play or App Store
  • Search for Swedbank Latvija
  • Identify the app by the Swedbank icon and tap on it to start downloading

Make sure there is enough free space on the device:

  • iOS devices require at least 165 MB
  • Android devices – at least 100 MB

Take a note! After updating the operating systems some settings may change - for example, notifications may be switched off or power-saving mode may be enabled. If the app doesn't work as usual, adjust the settings manually.

  • On iOs devices: open Settings > Notifications > Swedbank and switch on Allow Notifications. Make sure that displaying notifications on the Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners is switched on.
  • On Android devices: open your device settings and make sure Swedbank app notifications are turned on. The names of the settings may vary depending on the device model.

If the app still doesn't work, try one or all of these solutions:

  • Open Swedbank app, tap on your initials and select “User preferences” > “Delete personal data”.
  • Uninstall the app, restart the device, and download the app again from Google Play or App Store.
  • Make sure that your device is not in power saving mode.

Recommendations for safe use of the mobile app

  • Always protect your smartphone or tablet with a password.
  • Don't let others use your smartphone or tablet.
  • Have an anti-virus app installed.
  • Always follow the instructions from your smartphone manufacturer when enabling biometrics.

Smart-ID

Smart-ID is a free mobile app for conveniently logging in, making payments and signing agreements on the Swedbank Internet Banking site and the mobile app.
