Card's PIN code and details

Easily access your card number, expiry date, and security code/CVC2 code for all your active cards and view your PIN code in case you have forgotten it.

Manage account settings

  • Change the account name (you can also add emojis)
  • Choose a default account to be shown first when making transfers
  • Change payment limits
  • Hide account balance in the ”Overview” tab

To be on the safe side, you should have at least two authentication methods. The app PIN code is easy, secure, versatile, and a good backup.

Biometrics and PIN are the most convenient ways of logging into our mobile app and Internet Banking.

  • Log in faster.
  • View your account balance within seconds.
  • Confirm payments (up to 100 EUR or 10 times in a row).

Receive money from a friend by sending a request in a text message, e-mail or instant message.

  • Prepare the money request in the “Payments” section of the app
  • Choose how to send the request link (text message, e-mail or otherwise)
  • Select the person you wish to send money to from the contact list
  • Swedbank customers can make the payment by simply opening the link from the request
  • The maximum amount per request is 500 EUR

Android smartphone users can also make a money request with a QR code.

  • Show your phone screen to a person near you so they can scan the code to start a payment
How to send money request

Transfer money to others by using only their phone number. Set it up with these simple steps.

  • Link your phone number to your bank account in Swedbank mobile app to receive these payments
  • When making a new transfer in the app, choose to find the recipient from your phone contacts or enter the phone number manually
  • You can invite others to link their phone numbers to their bank accounts to transfer money by phone number to each other

Digitized cards

Gives you more control over your card usage. Manage your digitized Mastercard in different digital wallets and see linked service providers.

  1. In payment wallets, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Fitbit Pay, Garmin Pay and other available;
  2. Services where card has been digitized for recurring payments, such as “Netflix”, “Amazon”, “Uber” and similar.

Overview is where you can see all your transactions in one place – both payments and card transactions in a single overview.

Push notifications will notify you about your account activity free of charge.

Account balance widget allows you to quickly check your balance.

New Swedbank Latvia app is available for any smart device (phone, tablet, etc.) with software versions:

  • iOS: 16.0 or later
  • Android: 5.0 or later

For using mobile contactless payments in Android:

  • operating system version has to be Android 6.0 or above
  • you must have a Swedbank card with the contactless payment function enabled

For using biometrics:

  • Device must have fingerprint or face recognition sensor
  • Android - 6.0 version
  • iOS - 16.0 version
  • The Swedbank Latvia app works on most smartphones and tablets on the market. Remember that your smart device must run:
    • iOS 16.0 or later version
    • Android 5.0 or later version

If your smartphone or tablet runs an earlier version, unfortunately there is no possibility to get the update to the new app and we suggest using the Internet banking on your phone after the existing app is discontinued.

If you don’t have our Swedbank app:

  • Go to Google Play or App Store
  • Download Swedbank Latvia app

Smart-ID is a free mobile app for conveniently logging in, making payments and signing agreements on the Swedbank Internet Banking site and the mobile app.

From 23.03.2021 Swedbank Internet Bank and Banklink is no longer available using Internet Explorer browser.

It is not possible to authorize or make payments from Swedbank on other web pages using Internet Explorer.
