We can ask for the annual financial report (not older than 12 months) if it has not been submitted to the Commercial Register.
In case of property collateral needed we ask a valuation report from a real estate agency accepted by the bank.

Relationship with bank

Please let us know if you have recently changed the name of your company, its ownership or area of business. Make sure to complete and update your anti-money laundering (AML) questionnaire, as this is an essential part of financing applications.

A completed and up-to-date AML questionnaire is a prerequisite for applying for a loan from Swedbank.

Swedbank and development financial institution ALTUM have signed a cooperation agreement on implementing a new state support financial instrument — portfolio guarantee.

The Portfolio Guarantee Programme is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises, providing access to finance in case of insufficient collateral.

Conditions for granting the finance:

  • Maximum finance amount up to EUR 250,000
  • A loan without collateral up to 70,000 EUR
  • Eligible to the finance are investments in fixed assets and current assets
  • Lower loan interest rate
  • Guarantee's premium:
    0.8% per annum if the finance period is under 2 years
    1.42% per annum if the finance period is over 2 years

If the amount to be financed exceeds 250 000 EUR, Swedbank offers setting up ALTUM's individual credit guarantee.

Criteria for loan
  • Loan amount from 5000 EUR.
  • Term up to 10 years, depending on the collateral and loan amount.
  • The financed property must be pledged as collateral.
  • The collateral must have a valid energy performance certificate (EPC) throughout the loan period.
  • Obligation to provide annual energy consumption data for all real estate properties serving as collateral;
  • In the event of non-compliance with the requirements, the interest rate is increased to the rate specified in the loan agreement.
  • To apply for financing, the customer must have been carrying on business for at least 12 months.

For purchase of energy-efficient buildings built AFTER 31.12.2020:
