Make your payments with Google Pay™. Quickly and easily.

  1. Open Swedbank app, choose business customer profile and go to the “Cards” section.
  2. Choose the card you want to add to Google Pay feature and click on its picture. Then you’ll see the “Add to Google Pay” button appear below.
  3. Make sure contactless payments are allowed and enabled for your card.
  4. Then tap “Add to Google Pay” button below your business card.
  5. For it to fully enable, set Google Pay as your default mobile contactless payments app in Swedbank app or your device settings.
  6. That’s it! Now you can just biip and go!

Important to know!

The user who has access to Teleagreement with any profile except payment preparation („Info“, „Info and payments“ and „Full“) and who already can see their cards in mobile app, will have the possibility to enrol their own (only own) card to Google Pay.

  1. Install Google Wallet. Open the app, then tap on “Add a card or payment method“.
  2. Choose “Debit or credit card“ and enter required card data.
  3. Read and accept terms and conditions.
  4. Tap on “Continue“ to receive a confirmation SMS. Your phone number must be verified in the bank.
  5. Input the control code from SMS and your card will be added (when your card is successfully added, it will we shown on the first screen in Google Wallet).
  6. Make Google Wallet your default payment app if you wish to pay with Google Pay by default.

Card user can add additional cards to Google Pay.

For payment with another card added to Google Pay: open Google Pay App, select card (by swiping cards to the left or right) and tap POS terminal.

You can pay with Google Pay anywhere you’ll see the contactless payments symbol at the checkout.

To make contactless payments, turn on NFC in the smartphone settings.

  1. Unlock your smartphone.
  2. Tap your smartphone against the card terminal.

Card purchase limits apply.

Adding a card to Google Pay does not disable Swedbank own mobile contactless payments feature. But with Google Pay set as default, you still can use Swedbank app to pay by phone manually (by tapping on ”Pay with this Card”).

Google Pay is available for Android devices running the operating system version Android 5.0 or above only.

Use Google Pay in watches that are using at least Watch OS 3.

Remember: In order to use Google Pay, you need to have an active Swedbank Mastercard card with its contactless payments function enabled.

  • Enable Google Pay only on your own device. Do not share your mobile device.
  • Do not use a weak password or a weak pattern for your screen lock.
  • Update the software on your mobile device regularly.
  • Have an anti-virus app installed.
  • Use official app stores only. Even if you do use official app stores, stay vigilant. Read reviews and feedback about the app you want to download before installing it.
  • If you lose your device or it is stolen, disable Swedbank services on the device via the Internet Bank or by calling 67444 444.

When using your Google Pay your payment is protected with multiple layers of security so you can pay with peace of mind – all the time.

Purchases, just like all card purchases, are covered by the bank’s protection against fraud, so you can shop stress-free.
