Telephone Bank is a service for private entities and enables customers to perform remote banking transactions and receive information over telephone. The bank grants a User ID to the customer of Telephone Bank along with a code card or code calculator containing identification passwords. The costumer can choose to have code card or code calculator. The customer contacts the bank’s operator by phone without visiting the bank and receives the necessary information or gives instructions to make payments from his/her account. The bank's operator identifies the user by the User ID and passwords from code card or code calculator before executing the user’s instructions. Swedbank offers three modes of use of Telephone Bank - read-only, transactions and full-access mode. The read-only mode enables the customer to receive
information about his/her account balances and transactions performed.
It also enables the customer to receive consultation about all the banking
services offered by the bank. Transactions mode enables costumer both to receive all information and effect payments from his/her account, but disable to transact contracts. The full-access mode enables the customer
