Effecting payments is the key banking service for non-cash transactions.

Domestic payments and international transfers allow private individuals to transfer funds in any currency and to any bank in Latvia or abroad. For the convenience of customers, the bank offers various ways for effecting payments both from Swedbank's branches and through electronic payment system.

With the help of the Standing Order the customer may effect regular transfers, with the bank undertaking to automatically transfer predefined amounts from the customer's account to other accounts with Swedbank or any other bank in Latvia on specified dates.

Meanwhile, the Direct Debit, allows the customer to save time on bill payments, as the bank undertakes to automatically pay the indicated service bills from the customer's account.
