Hansa Fondi is an investment management company that has the longest business experience in Latvia in this field. Founded in 1997, Hansa Fondi is a subsidiary of Hansabanka.

We offer investment management services and products to private customers, financial intermediaries, and business customers in the Baltics and worldwide.

We specialise in the management of debt securities (debentures, bonds, etc), in Latvia and Central and Eastern European countries.  We also offer placement of assets and asset management services for pension funds and institutional clients.

Hansa Fondi is an integral part of the Pan-Baltic asset management process of Hansabank Group and, as such, in the management of assets, we cooperate closely with our sister companies in other Baltic countries: Hansa Fondid (Estonia) and Hansa Investiciju Valdimas(Lithuania).

As to the amount of assets, in Latvia we are the largest manager of the assets of the State Funded Pension Scheme (so called 2nd pillar pensions). Hansa Fondi has obtained the mandate to manage the assets of Hansa Eastern Europe Bond Fund, which is registered in Estonia. We also manage the assets of the lats liquidity fund, Money Market Fund – a fund that has the longest history of business in Latvia (registered in 1999) – and Hansa Open-End Pension Fund.

The total amount of assets under our management as at the beginning of 2006 was LVL 59.7 million, which as a matter of fact exceeds the amount of assets of six Latvian commercial banks.
