On 17 March 2009, SIA Hansa Lizings and SIA Baltijas Autolizings, as well as AS Hansabanka, will change their legal names and will, respectively, be called Swedbank Lizings SIA and Swedbank Autoparku Vadiba SIA. This move will successfully complete the single brand implementation process initiated last year.
After the legal name change on 17th of March, the new legal names – Swedbank Lizings SIA and Swedbank Autoparku Vadiba SIA – will be used in all contracts, agreements and other documents.
As a service-oriented organization, which is mindful of the comfort of its clients, also after the legal name change Swedbank will accept documents where the former legal names are stated. Only in cases when a leasing customer of Swedbank Lizings SIA or Swedbank Autoparku Vadiba needs to travel to the CIS* countries (including Ukraine**), they’ll need to go to their nearest Swedbank branch, complete the “Application for obtaining authorization to go abroad” and then take the authorization to the Road Traffic Safety Directorate to have their vehicle registration certificate replaced.

When the lessee, or a third party appointed by the lessee, travels outside Latvia with an authorization issued earlier (before 17/03/2009) by Swedbank Lizings SIA or Swedbank Autoparku Vadiba SIA. |
When a third party appointed by the lessee travels outside Latvia with an authorization issued after 17/03/2009 by Swedbank Lizings SIA or Swedbank Autoparku Vadiba SIA.
Cost of vehicle registration certificate replacement is covered by the lessee. |
